Mother's day is coming up

So it is that time of year again. Mother's day is right around the corner. How are you planning to celebrate? My top ideas are the following:

1) Jewelry is always on the top of most women's lists. I would highly recommend jewelry. So many stores have great sales going on at the moment. 2) Fragrance is another hot item on most women's lists. I would highly recommend a clean, fresh scent or a soft floral scent. My top picks are Prada Infusion D' Iris, Chanel #5, Vera Wang, Dolce and Gabbana's Light blue, and any of the Jo Malone fragrances.

3) A day at the spa or hair salon. This way Mom can have a relaxing day without the kids. Check around for local spas or salons in your area.

4) A lovely dinner or lunch would surely brighten mom's day! I would recommend that you try a place that you have never visited before. You will have a memorable Mother's Day when you try something new. Look for an Italian, Caribbean, Japanese, or other exotic restaurant.

5) Local organizations will be participating in Relay for Life on the weekend of Mother's Day. This is one of the biggest cancer fundraising events. I would highly recommend this event. It is a great way to meet people, raise awareness, and raise funds to eliminate cancer. Spend Mother's Day volunteering during this event. It will be a fun way to give back to your community and also an experience that will never be forgotten. Check out the American Cancer Society to find the local event in your area.
